My Go-To Weekend Look ft. Antiquarian Couture

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! As you all know, last week was my first week at my new job and by the time Friday rolled around I was begging for a beer and my bed. All-in-all my first week went well and I’m really liking it. I’ll try to do a post on my “job journey” if that sounds like something you all would be interested in. Let me know!

When the weekend approaches I’m ready for comfy clothes, but I also want to look put together and ready for wherever the weekend takes me. Say hello to my go-to weekend look of the white tee and jeans. You can’t go wrong with it, ever. It’s a classic. It’s a staple. I accented it with all of my new favorite blue accessories that I’ve been obsessing over lately, including my gorgeous new ring from Antiquarian Couture. Oh, and the baby I’m rocking on my shoulder was a gift to myself for surviving my first week in the corporate world… #treatyoself

John Bauer of Antiquarian Couture contacted me and told me about the amazing jewelry he was creating locally. It blew my mind and I fell in love with the stunning Paua shell ring shown in today’s outfit photos. John creates unique Steampunk-inspired pieces with stunning gems and mechanical parts. Truthfully, I didn’t think it would be something I could pull off, but his jewelry was too beautiful not to try. The ring fits effortlessly into my style and I find myself reaching for it on the regular. Be sure to check out his designs!
